The role

The role of an Artworker at DS.Emotion is to produce finished artwork across a range of

media from design files developed and supplied ordinarily by the creative department.

Artworkers are responsible for the delivery and quality of the finished outputs of the agency both online and offline maintaining the integrity of brand guidelines.

They:

• Must work closely and effectively with the Account Handler and design department to ensure the successful execution of projects
• Work closely with and understand the clients brief and amendment process to deliver appropriate finished artwork to meet expectations

• Excellent eye for detail and accuracy

• Strong time management skills
• Commercially aware in the principles of the print process and finished artwork
• Understanding of online outputs such as programmatic display and mail chimp is preferable
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate with suppliers and colleagues on all levels
• Confident, calm and approachable under the pressure of deadlines
• The ability to work to corporate guidelines when required
• Good working knowledge of Adobe CS software

Key responsibilities

• Create high quality channel ready artwork across a range of media
• Liaise with printers to discuss any special requirements when setting up print and advertising collateral
• Motion skills - Foundational skills in After Effects to allow the build of social animations
• Joining client calls to better help and support the creative team
• Creating vector based maps
• Helping to keep a good housekeeping practice of internal digital filing system
• Image editing (Photoshop) correcting photos, recolouring / retouching AI images
• Basic knowledge of AI image creation (Mid-journey) to offer support for the wider creative team.
• Experience with inDesign (main programme), Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Communicate with the creative and account handling departments as part of a team
• Ensure we deliver the levels expected of quality control throughout the life of a project
• Ability to manage workflow and meet required deadlines
• Ensure jobs are stored and filed on the network within company guidelines
• Follow client design guidelines provided by others
• Keep accurate records of time and follow the work timetable
