Holcim UK is searching for a Regional Electrical Engineer to join our high-performing team across the North. Covering new sites and pioneering construction and demolition material (CDM) projects, this is your opportunity to shape a greener, more sustainable future, while working on major infrastructure that keeps the UK moving.

Tech + People = Progress – Help lead the transformation of electrical systems across our sites, from compliance and efficiency to energy optimisation and capability building.
What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee all electrical engineering activity across the Northern region – ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Support the delivery of major sustainability and innovation projects , including the electrification of plant fleets and recycled materials technology.
Partner with site and unit managers to drive performance enhancement , energy efficiency, and long-term electrical asset planning.
Lead audits, VFL (Visible Felt Leadership) activities , and ensure all engineering activities align with Holcim’s Environmental & Safety Management System (ESMS).
Support the planning and budgeting of shutdowns , new installations, upgrades and preventative maintenance strategies.
Mentor and coach local electrical teams and contractors, building a strong network of capable engineers across the region.
What You’ll Bring
Strong commercial acumen with a sharp eye for cost-saving opportunities and performance enhancement.
A natural leader , able to manage people, projects, and priorities across multiple sites.
Technical expertise in electrical systems (HV/LV), installations, inspections, and compliance.
Understanding of strategic planning , budgeting , and asset lifecycle management.
Confidence to challenge the status quo, drive new initiatives and represent Holcim’s vision in the field.
Familiarity with working in highly regulated, safety-first environments .
