Water Hygiene Engineer – Leeds
Up to £32,000 DOE + benefits

Are you a skilled water hygiene engineer ready for your next step? My client, a respected leader in environmental compliance services, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Leeds-based team.

This is a regional role, ideal for someone living within easy reach of the Leeds area, and offers the benefit of being home every evening.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems

*

Flushing of outlets in line with ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidance

*

Tank inspections and detailed condition reporting

*

TMV servicing, replacements and adjustments

*

Disinfection and chlorination of water systems

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the water hygiene sector and a solid understanding of compliance standards. Plumbing qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 are a plus but not essential. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation and excellent communication skills are key.

Requirements:

Proven experience in water hygiene work

*

Good knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274

*

Capable of completing monitoring, disinfection and remedial works

*

Excellent communication and record-keeping skills

*

Full UK driving licence
