Indeed, this Senior Admin’ role is the brainchild of the Managing Director, and he will take a vested interest in ensuring you thrive and feel fulfilled in your role.

Whilst the Insurance Admin’ Team has been established for a number of years, this is an additional role so the finer points can be tweaked to suit your skills, experiences and ambitions. However, those seeking a basic ‘paper shuffling’ admin’ role need not apply! From dealing with insurer correspondence through to handling declaration and creating bespoke client literature, this is certainly a more ‘involved’ position than similarly titled positions with competing brokers.

As well as those currently working in an administrative role at present, we are also keen to hear from candidates from other areas of insurance (such as Brokers, Assistant Underwriters or Claims Handlers) who wish to take their careers in a different, less stressful direction.

Given the seniority of this position, it is essential that you have some experience of working in an insurance environment – with candidates from broking, insurance company or claims backgrounds welcome to apply. Clearly, exceptional administration skills are a ‘must have’, as is a keen eye for detail, excellent task management & organisational skills, and the ability to help put together client documentation. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside being confident with common IT packages.
