IT Technician required

Full-time, permanent position

The role involves providing first- and second-line IT support to staff and students, maintaining school IT systems, and supporting the smooth running of classroom and administrative technology. You will work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure reliable, secure, and effective IT provision across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day IT support to staff and pupils

• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

• Supporting classroom technology including interactive boards and AV equipment

• Managing user accounts, devices, and permissions

• Assisting with system maintenance, updates, and security procedures

• Supporting school events, examinations, and day-to-day operations

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT Technician or IT Support role

• Strong working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365

• Experience supporting hardware, networks, and end users

• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
