As our HR & Payroll Specialist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity, compliance, and efficiency across all HR and payroll processes. You will bridge local HR execution with central HR governance from our headquarters in the Netherlands, ensuring our HR processes, systems, and data are managed consistently and securely.
You will join an international HR team (NL, DE, PL) and report hierarchically to the CHRO, while reporting functionally with the Country Sales Director UK & Ireland.
Your key responsibilities:
Payroll Management: Coordinate with the central HR & Finance teams in the Netherlands for final payroll processing, approval, and payments.
HR Administration : Execute all HR administration through the central HRIS for real‑time visibility and serve as backup support for the central HR team when needed.
HR Support & Business Partnership : Act as a trusted link between local operations and central HR, and ensure consistent application of global HR policies and processes.
Compliance, Governance & Reporting : Ensure all HR and payroll activities comply with UK labor law, tax regulations, and company standards.
What you bring
3–5+ years of experience in UK payroll and HR administration
Previous involvement in TUPE processes is an advantage
Recruitment experience is a plus
A positive mindset and the ability to support organisational change and help teams navigate transitions
Strong understanding of UK employment law, payroll processes, tax & social security
Structured, detail‑oriented, and skilled at following standardized workflows
Excellent analytical skills and high accuracy
Strong cross-border communication and collaboration skills
Integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee & payroll data
Experience with HRIS systems (AFAS or similar), ATS (Recruitee or similar), Performance Management System (Treams or similar), and Microsoft Office
