The role
Working in the Landscape Planning sector, every day will be different.
- You’ll be accountable for overseeing the delivery of quality reporting and have plenty of contact with our clients – ensuring that projects are delivered on budget, on time and to a high standard.

- You will juggle a combination of juicy urban and rural projects you can sink your teeth into
- You will collaborate with our in-house ecology, GBI and arboriculture teams
- You will build relationships both with clients and stakeholders alike. No day will be the same and we certainly offer variety
- In addition, you will be given the opportunity to specialise outside of project delivery, in helping shape Tyler Grange for the better
What we're looking for:
- Academic qualifications in a relevant subject
- Minimum of six years’ experience and Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and written skills
- First rate project management skills
- Proficient in carrying out LVIAs and LVAs, including input into landscape design / mitigation strategies
- Proficient in EIA
- A good understanding of legislative and planning policy framework
- Proficient in providing due diligence advice to clients in respect to landscape character and visual matters
- Experience of managing projects on time and to budget, including a lead role within multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience liaising with clients, statutory bodies and LPAs
- Track record of business development and winning own work
- Full UK driving licence to enable site work
- The icing on the cake for us would be:
- Involvement or some experience of providing expert witness services would be an advantage
- Desire to mentor team members
If you need any additional support from us during the application process, please reach out to [email protected] or include this in your application itself, as we are committed to ensuring that every candidate has equitable access to our opportunities.
