Location: Royal Armouries, Leeds

Salary: £12.71 per hour (paid weekly)

Contract: Zero-hour contract, Temporary FTC 29.04.26 - 29.05.26

Join our vibrant events team at the Royal Armouries this May! We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to support a series of large-scale events at one of Leeds’ most prestigious venues. If you’re energetic, proactive, and ready to get stuck in, this is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Roles Available:

We are hiring for several event support positions, including:

• Café Assistant - food and drink service, cash handling & till usage, clearing
• Event Assistant - food and beverage service, furniture set-up, general cleaning
• Bar Staff - pouring and serving drinks, glass clearing

Shift Options:

We offer a variety of shifts across our events, ranging between the hours of 6am - 11pm, giving you flexibility while earning extra income. Please note that shifts can be long and physically demanding, but you’ll be part of a supportive, high-energy team throughout!

Who We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in events, hospitality or customer service is beneficial but not essential. If you bring the right energy and attitude, we want you on our team!

You’ll be great for this role if you:

• Are 18 years or older (due to licensing requirements)
• Can remain calm under pressure, especially during busy periods
• Are confident and comfortable engaging with guests
• Have strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Are reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic
• Have a positive and welcoming attitude
