Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm About the School: We are partnering with an outstanding special needs school in Leeds that supports students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special educational needs (SEN). The school fosters an inclusive, nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and socially. Role Overview: As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will support students with autism in their learning, social, and emotional development. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide 1:1 and small group support, following Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to ensure students receive personalized care. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support for students with ASD. Assist with personalized learning plans based on students' EHCPs. Help students develop social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Promote an inclusive classroom environment in collaboration with the SENCO.What We're Looking For: Experience supporting students with ASD or SEN (preferably in an educational setting). Compassionate, patient, and adaptable. A genuine passion for helping children overcome learning barriers. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).Requirements: Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
