What will you be doing?
Engineering Technician with experience supporting the investigation and detailed design of clean and wastewater networks and associated civil engineering projects within the water sector. Skilled in interpreting network maps and plans to understand asset ownership and constraints, including public and private land. Provides effective technical support to designers by completing tasks that contribute to build‑ready designs and successful construction delivery. Demonstrates a strong understanding of utilities, environmental factors, construction methods, and safe systems of work. Capable of managing individual tasks or small projects across multiple workstreams, with expertise in investigations, CAD support, and statutory notice preparation for private land and easements in line with client requirements.
What you'll bring
- Experience of using MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and also conversant with
AutoCAD 2D / GIS software. - Have a basis of water hydraulic network systems understanding, either through previous experience or education.
- Able to demonstrate an initiative to work on their own and as part of a team.
