Document Controller / Senior Consultant - Real Estate - UK Wide

Please visit our website: Job Description Due to increased workload and securing new clients Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Senior Consultant specialising as a Document Controller to join our team. Our team are recognised as global experts in the development and deployment of Document Control and Common Data Environments (CDE's) on major projects and programmes, delivering client outcomes which mutually benefit the supply chain and add value to projects. - Applying ISO 19650 principles to influence CDE setup and project delivery
- Leveraging expertise across a wide range of CDE tools for efficient and complaint Information Management
- CDE implementation: Contribute to discovery sessions to understand CDE and Document Control requirements. Implement the required metadata fields, permissions, folder structures, workflows and processes.
- User management and security: Create user accounts, issue invitations and maintain security groups.
- Client Requirements: Support the production of project documentation & client requirements
- Information Standards: Support the production of project or programme Information Standards by detailing the CDE requirements.
- CDE configuration and management: Undertake updates and adjustments to support new teams and evolving ways or working.
- Quality assurance: Monitor compliance of incoming and outgoing documents through established workflows.
- Workflow oversight: Track workflow progress, report on outstanding reviews and resolve blockers.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests.
- System compliance: Conduct audits on file naming, storage locations and user access. Provide compliance reports to stakeholders.
- Project team and stakeholder interface: Act as the main point of contact for all queries and issues relating to the CDE system.
- Training and guidance: Organise and undertake regular training sessions on the purpose and use of the system for new users and refresher training for existing users. Maintain training logs and distribute user guides.
- Provide advanced training: Provide in-depth training for super users and administrators on advanced CDE functionality.
- Support and insights: Provide ad-hoc reports and information on system usage, compliance and assist with ad-hoc requests relating to user activity.
- Experienced Document Controller of 3+ years
- Consultancy experience favourable but not required
- Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the context of Information Management and Document Control
- Understanding of ISO 19650 standards (particularly Part 2) and how it impacts Information Management and Document Control
- Administrator level experience using at least one of the following: Sharepoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, ViewPoint, Asite, Dalux
- User level experience of at least one other CDE / EDMS or similar system.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Use of advanced optional CDE / EDMS features, e.g. e-procurement, ACC Take-off
- The ability to work independently & be self-motivated
