SEN Administrator - Specialist School - Leeds
A well-regarded specialist school in Leeds is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused SEN Administrator to join its supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and who understands the importance of accurate records, strong communication and efficient systems.

About the Role
As SEN Administrator , you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration linked to SEND provision and pupil support. Working closely with the SENCO and wider pastoral team, you will help ensure systems run smoothly and that information is accurate, timely and handled with care.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting SEND administration, including maintaining accurate pupil records and documentation
Managing correspondence and communication with parents, staff and external professionals
Coordinating paperwork linked to EHCPs, reviews, meetings and referrals
Supporting organisation of multi-agency meetings, including scheduling and preparing documentation
Maintaining confidential records with strong attention to safeguarding and GDPR
Supporting data entry, tracking and reporting as required
Providing general admin support to the wider school team when needed
This role requires strong organisation, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work sensitively with confidential information.

You will join a supportive and collaborative staff team that values professionalism, empathy and consistency. The SEN Administrator works closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, therapists and external agencies, helping to ensure pupils receive the right support at the right time.

What the School is Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience in administration, ideally within education, SEND or a similar support-focused setting
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Confident communication skills with parents and external professionals
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Confidence using IT systems, including spreadsheets and database-style systems
Understanding of safeguarding and the importance of accurate record keeping
Experience supporting EHCP processes, SENCO administration or multi-agency work is desirable but not essential for a strong candidate.
