Job Title: Senior or Principal Environmental Assessment Consultant
Salary: 45,000 to 65,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Leeds (flexible/hybrid working)
Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Senior or Principal Environmental Assessment Consultant to lead multidisciplinary projects across a diverse portfolio.

You'll deliver environmental assessments across a range of sectors, managing projects from early strategy through to consent and delivery, while contributing to climate resilience and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead EIA, SEA and SA projects
Manage project delivery (quality, budget, programme)
Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams
Support bids and client relationships
Mentor junior staff
What Our Client is Looking For:
Strong experience delivering EIA, SEA and SA
Project management and commercial awareness
Confident client-facing skills
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation

Desirable:

Experience in infrastructure, water or energy sectors
Line management or mentoring experience
Experience with DCOs or major projects
