Private Client Solicitor – Bradford/Leeds/York/Huddersfield

A well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to join a progressive, award-winning firm with a strong reputation for both its legal work and its workplace culture.

The Role

This position would suit a confident and experienced Private Client Solicitor who is comfortable managing a busy and varied caseload while maintaining high standards of client care.

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, with a particular focus on complex and taxable estates and trust work, alongside Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing your own caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
• Advising on complex and taxable estates, including inheritance tax planning
• Drafting, setting up and administering trusts
• Preparing Wills and advising on estate planning
• Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Handling estate administration, including high-value and complex estates
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Private Client work
• Strong experience managing a varied caseload independently
• Proven background in complex and taxable estates and trust matters
• Confident advising on Wills, estate planning and LPAs
• STEP qualification or working towards this would be advantageous
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Able to work flexibly across office locations if required
