Corporate Commercial Practice Innovation Lead, Leeds Are you a Corporate or Commercial Solicitor in Leeds, who is interested in legal tech and looking for something very different from fee earning? We're working on a unique Practice Innovation Lead role with a top tier international firm based in Leeds. This is your chance to step away from fee earning and use your legal experience to shape how lawyers work - making Lawyers' lives easier, and more efficient & effective, through smarter processes, legal tech and innovation. You'll of course be aware of the increasingly rapid march of all large (and some smaller) commercial firms to smarter and more efficient ways of working, so that they can deliver faster and more effective legal solutions to clients. Fail to innovate and you will inevitably be left behind. This firm is, and has been for years, at the forefront of legal innovation. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between lawyers and the firm's innovation & legal tech team - identifying pain points, establishing the team's needs, driving efficiency projects, running training to boost adoption of new tools, and embedding better ways of working across the group. You don't need to be a tech guru - just a lawyer who "gets it." Someone who's seen both the power and the pain of legal tech in action, and has a genuine drive to help make it work better.
