Transit Driver

About the Role

Panda Waste provides reliable and efficient collection services, ensuring bins and containers are safely transported for processing and disposal.

As a Transit Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and transportation of bins and containers from customer sites. This includes handling items with care, following established collection procedures, and ensuring all collections are completed in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. Our transit driver operations are designed to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency, giving our clients total peace of mind and an excellent first impression.

Roles and Responsibilities

Communicating with the customer on arrival at site in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
Always ensuring exceptional customer service
Collecting, exchanging and delivering containers
Completing collections and deliveries effectively and efficiently
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Ensuring company vehicles are kept in excellent condition
Completing all necessary paperwork and reporting daily
Comply with Data Protection and GDPR throughout all activitiesSkills and Experience

Experience in a multi-drop/collection environment
Strong geographical knowledge
Full, clean UK driving license
Excellent time management skillsAbout You
