Key Responsibilities for Band 6 Nurse job in Leeds
- Deliver expert nursing care tailored to the needs of individual patients, ensuring all care is evidence-based and in line with best practices.
- Manage and oversee a clinical caseload, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Lead and coordinate the work of junior nurses, healthcare assistants, and student nurses, acting as a mentor and role model.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements of a Band 6 Nurse job
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- At least 2 years of post-registration experience, preferably in a Band 5 or equivalent position.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient care.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience supervising and supporting junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Qualifications and Experience Band 6 Nurse job in Leeds
- Previous experience in a Band 6 role or similar leadership position.
- Experience in specialized areas such as critical care, surgical wards, or community nursing.
