Band 5 - Paediatric Nurse - Leeds (Hiring Immediately)

Pay Rates: £23-£40 per hour
Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team and work within a prestigious NHS Trust based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people in a supportive clinical environment.
Pay rates range from £23 to £35 per hour on PAYE (Days £23, Nights/Saturdays £29, Sundays/Bank Holidays £35) and £27 to £40 per hour under Umbrella (Days £27, Nights/Saturdays £33, Sundays/Bank Holidays £40).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and young people.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with individual patient needs.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with Trust policies.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with children and their families, offering reassurance, education, and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control policies.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Paediatric nursing qualification (RN Child).
- Previous experience working within a paediatric setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child-focused care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
