For questions about this job, contact: Name: Jane Andrews Position General Manager Email [email protected] Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and forwardthinking Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex transformation programmes in MMPS and across our organisation. This is a pivotal role within our leadership team, supporting the Trust’s strategic priorities and ensuring that our services continue to deliver outstanding care for our patients. You will work collaboratively across clinical, operational, finance, and digital teams to drive largescale change, improve pathways, and deliver measurable benefits for patients, staff, and the wider health system. Key Responsibilities Lead the endtoend delivery of a portfolio of programmes, ensuring clear governance, risk management, and benefit realisation. Work closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and external partners to codesign and implement sustainable change. Produce highquality programme documentation including business cases, plans, risk logs, and progress reports. Provide expert advice on programme methodology (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile) and support the embedding of best practice. Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and aligned with organisational priorities. Ensure robust financial and resource planning to deliver programmes on time and within budget. Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and more effective ways of working. What you will bring to the role We are looking for someone who is: An experienced programme or senior project manager, ideally within the NHS or complex publicsector environment. Highly skilled in programme governance, planning, and delivery at scale. Able to work confidently with executive leaders, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams. A strong communicator who can translate complex information into clear, actionable plans. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and driving progress in a fastpaced environment. Passionate about improving patient care and delivering meaningful, measurable change. A recognised project/programme management qualification (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable. Please see the attached job description for further information about this vacancy.
