JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PUNJABI AND ENGLISH SPEAKING LIVE-IN CARER (NORTH AREA UK)

At HadiCare we now have a dedicated team of care staff to assist your loved ones.

Our live-in carers work within an agreed rotation of two weeks on, two weeks off.

THE CARER MUST ALSO BE SIKH due to client's cognitive impairment.

As a PUNJABI AND ENGLISH SPEAKING live-in carer, you would be supporting one of our clients within their own home.

Working in a 2 week rotation will allow you to build a connection and support the client with their care needs and daily routine.

You will settle into your own room overnight but attend if called, and if support is needed.

ABOUT THIS LIVE-IN CARER POSITION

As a live-in carer, you will be entitled to a minimum of 14 hours break per 7 day period, this can be arranged to suit yourself and your client.

You MUST BE SIKH, SPEAKING BOTH PUNJABI AND ENGLISH

You would be supporting a gentleman with mobility needs, and requiring personal care, medication administration, cooking and domestic tasks around the home.

For this live-in carer position you will need at least 6 months live-in care experience in the UK.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

PAY: £850 per week

EXPERIENCE: UK Care - 1 year (required)

LICENCE/CERTIFICATION: A driving license would be beneficial

CARE CERTIFICATE

DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

o Right-to-work in UK
o Fluent in both Punjabi and English (required)
o Must be Sikh (required)
