Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

White Label Recruitment are very excited to be working with an extremely reputable and market leading manufacturing company who are industry leaders of their product in their search of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Business that has over 100 people and are going through an exciting period, this is a great opportunity to join a major business. The Role:

• Develop and maintain mechanical design information and management systems, ensuring integration with other disciplines for efficient manufacture and supply of new products (using SolidWorks and PDM Works).
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to achieve optimal engineering solutions.
• Manage the evolution of standard upgrade options for products post-launch.

• Minimum HNC in Engineering
• Ideally experience designing pressure vessels, tanks, rotating/flow equipment (valves, pumps, etc) conveying systems, mechanical/material handling, special purpose machinery, etc
• Understanding of European Directives, CE Marking, ASME standards, and North American pressure equipment regulations.
• 3D Modelling experience is a must. Ideally Solidworks but open to similar design packages such as Inventor or Solidedge, etc

• £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
• 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays
• 36.5 hour working week with flexible start times
• Monday – Thursday – 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
• Friday – 7:30 am until 12 pm
• You can choose to work a full Friday and work a 9-day fortnight (Every other Friday off without affecting your holiday allowance) or finish at 12pm on Fridays
