Salary: Up to £85,000 plus car allowance and benefits

Location: Birmingham / West Midlands

The Opportunity..

Due to a string of recent contract awards, a leading tier 1 contractor is looking for an ambitious Senior Planner to join their Northwest region. The successful Senior Planner will work on a mix of tenders and live projects ranging from £10m to £80m in value, across a varied mix of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and leisure.

What will they consider?

1. An experienced Planner looking for a step up to Senior Planner.
2. An established Senior Planner that is looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to progress their career.

Key requirements for the Senior Planner position..

• Main contracting background within the building sector.
• A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject software.
• Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects upwards of £10m.
• Good understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications including JCT, NEC or bespoke forms of Construction Contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
• Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
