They are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their vibrant English department in a full-time, permanent position.

Position Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire and engage students in the study of English language and literature. You will play a key part in fostering a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking, empowering students to express themselves effectively and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver captivating English lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and resources.
• Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing individualized learning strategies.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues within the English department and across the wider school community to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
• Remain abreast of current developments in English pedagogy and curriculum, actively engaging in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• A demonstrable passion for the subject and a commitment to student success.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
