Continuous Improvement Manager
HPCareers is now seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager who can make a real impact upon how the company functions and lead OEE improvements across the manufacturing site.
Responsible for a number of improvement projects from concept to conclusion and will be tasked with creating a culture of continuous improvement leading the management, coaching and development of a small team of Continuous Improvement engineers
Candidates should have proven knowledge and experience of manufacturing techniques: line balancing, process flow /mapping, process control, kaizen and kanban systems, method studies.
Responsibilities
- Managing Standard Work Rate Setting / Time & Motion Studies
- Product & Process Flow / Value Stream Mapping
- Manufacturing Floor Layouts
- Leader of lean practices and principals.
- Project managing Kaizen activities.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques, such as, SPC, Kaizen, SMED, 5S Standard work rate setting.
- Ability to work as a change agent in the company to improve processes and ensure OEE improvements.
- Able to demonstrate experience gained in a low volume, high variant, manufacturing environment.
- A proven ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach teams
- Expert knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, and translating data in to improvements.
- Manage projects from concept to completion with the ability to drive change.
- Excellent IT skills - an advanced user of excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Engineering related qualification
