This approach has led to First Intuition being awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by Ofsted. Job summary: Support a cohort of apprentices through their learning journey. Duties and responsibilities to include: As Skills & Development Coach you will be responsible for coaching a cohort of apprentices on their apprenticeship journey. Key responsibilities include: Undertaking progress reviews with the apprentice and their employer Providing structured feedback on an apprentice’s progression Creating and implementing action plans where necessary Monthly reviews of learner status with your line manager Monitoring and monthly reporting on the apprentice’s progression Preparing and updating study planners for your apprentices Assisting in the delivery of the apprenticeship introduction session, and EPA days Reviewing task and portfolio submissions by apprentices and providing feedback Reviewing learning logs and providing feedback in line with ESFA rules Assisting the apprentice through EPA, including playing a key role in the portfolio finalisation Compliant documentation Other General admin support for the office as required Attending careers events SLA’s Initial Progress Review takes place within 2-6 weeks of the apprentices’ start date Review learning logs within the first 5 working days of each month Learning Logs need to be compliant 6 months before the learner goes through EPA. Respond to emails within 48 working hours (2 working days) KPI’s Development Tasks are marked within 7 working days of submission Subsequent Progress Reviews take place no later than 12 weeks after the previous review (ESFA) LNAs and BILs must be processed within 1 month of the learner’s last day of learning (LDOL). Learning Logs are reviewed monthly and 60% of learner’s entries are fully compliant Qualifications and skills: Essential: Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Be driven to improve the educational experience for our apprentices continually Ability to review processes and make recommendations on improvements Exceptional organisational and time management skills Microsoft literate (Excel, Outlook, Teams) Confident and professional, as you will be representing our brand to our clients and apprentice Desirable : A full driving licence and access to a vehicle Sound knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and standards to ensure compliance with Ofsted and ESFA Regulations Understanding of the accountancy sector/qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) Benefits 30 days annual leave (based on fulltime hours) PLUS bank holidays 3 FI Days per year Hybrid working available, equipment provided for homeworking Flexible-working positive employer with a range of family-friendly policies Employee Assistance Programme: 24-hour confidential access to counselling and support services Competitive Pension Private Medical Insurance Training and development opportunities Long term career prospects in a growing company Employee perks including a range of discounts to suit your lifestyle We are committed to safeguarding and protecting young people and vulnerable adults and follow Safer Recruitment processes.
