For questions about this job, contact: Name: Rebecca Montague Position: Assistant Patient Services Co-Ordinator Email: [email protected] Phone number: 01132068249 Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and patient centred individual to join the Abdominal Medicine & Surgery Team in the role of Inpatient placement officer for HPB & Transplant/UG/PANC The position is based in the Bexley Wing admissions departments at St James University Hospital. Applicants should have a responsible attitude, be proactive, and demonstrate using initiative. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be required to liaise with patients and colleagues. The post holders will be required to work as part of a small team, providing an excellent service for elective patients on the 18 week and cancer pathways whilst ensuring that the pathway is as seamless as possible. What you will bring to the role Qualifications - Good Basic Standard of Education demonstrating excellent communication skills and numeracy Minimum of 5 GCSE, NVQ or the equivalent qualifications Experience of working in an office environment. (This includes work experience at school or college) Experience Working with Patients in an administrative environment Fair, honest and consistent in their approach. Diplomatic, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a professional attitude. Communicate sensitively and effectively.
