Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics , a leading name in supply chain solutions, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 Driver to become a part of our growing team in Sherburn for our customer, the largest coffee shop chain in the UK, Costa Coffee . This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are committed to safe, compliant working practices. This is a demanding role with excellent rewards.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week over a 17-week period on the shift pattern of 5 on 3 off with the start time window of 07:00 – 09:00 .

What you will do on a typical day:

• Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient goods to Costa Coffee stores (10 to 15 drops per shift)
• Operate vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently
• Complete all paperwork fully, accurately and on time
• Comply with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
