Construction Disputes Solicitor / Associate | 1-5 PQE | National Firm | Leeds An award-winning UK law firm is seeking a Construction Disputes Solicitor or Associate (1-5 PQE) to join its nationally recognised team, with the option to be based in Leeds. The Role This opportunity sits within a highly regarded construction disputes team operating across multiple UK offices, working seamlessly on complex and high-profile matters. Key aspects of the role include:

• Advising on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including final account disputes, loss and expense claims, defects and delay claims.
• Acting on adjudications, mediations and court proceedings, including high-value and multi-party disputes.
• Supporting on complex PFI/PPP and infrastructure-related disputes.
• Working with a diverse client base including local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations, developers, contractors and funders.

· Exposure to significant matters such as: o Multi-million-pound PFI and infrastructure disputes. o High-value adjudications involving payment and contractual interpretation issues. o Complex building safety and cladding-related claims.

• Collaborating closely with partners and colleagues across a national platform.
• Contributing to business development initiatives and client relationship management.

About You You will ideally have:

• 1-5 years' PQE with experience in construction or commercial disputes.
• Exposure to adjudication and/or litigation, ideally within the construction or projects space.
• Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a wider team.
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial, client-focused approach.
• A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a genuine interest in developing within a leading construction team.
