Are you an experienced UK commercial insurance professional with an in depth knowledge of the core classes of business and the carrier marketplace too?

W Denis seek a Senior Corporate Broker located in Leeds. This would be an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and tenacious individual who enjoys both handling and broking their own accounts.

Responsibilities

• Handling day-to-day client queries
• Prepare pre-renewal documentation and renewal reports for Account Executives
• Handle all broking activities for your allocated client book
• Access to an extensive number of markets
• Manage trading relationships with insurers

Working from our new Leeds Head Quarters, you’ll be responsible for the placement and handling of a wide range of core-commercial risks. W Denis are one of only a handful of independent brokers located outside of London. We are also a fully accredited Lloyd’s broker with direct access to the world-renowned Lloyd’s market.

Skills and Experience Required

• A detailed knowledge of commercial insurance market practices & dynamics
• Multi-class specialisms ideal
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the insurance industry
• An effective listener and an eloquent communicator
• Acts with the highest integrity and to professional standard
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask, work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
• Good IT skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook
