Senior Project Manager
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets using tools such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of software projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; define and execute mitigation strategies proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical work.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and steering committee meetings with external project sponsors.
- Provide regular, transparent project status reporting to senior leadership and external parties including progress, risks, financials, and key decisions.
- Collaborate with solution architects and engineering leads to ensure technical decisions align with project goals, timelines, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Continuously review and evaluate evolving recommendations in security, code coverage, documentation, QA & testing and data pipeline architecture to ensure that best practices are followed. Implement monitoring solutions for these practices to ensure alignment.
- Oversee integration of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices into the project workflow.
- Ensure adherence to software quality standards including code review processes, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions; feed insights back into project governance frameworks.
- Champion best practices in project delivery methodology, tooling, and team collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains across the project portfolio.
- Minimum 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years managing software development projects in a senior capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and familiarity with waterfall/hybrid delivery models.
- Hands-on experience with project management tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Good financial acumen-experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and vendor/contract negotiations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent project management certification (required).
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist certification (highly desirable).
- Experience managing data platform or cloud migration projects (e.g., Azure Databricks, Snowflake, or similar).
- Background working in the hospitality, travel, or multi-site operational industries.
- Familiarity with AI/ML project delivery and working with data science teams.
- Experience with portfolio-level planning and PMO governance structures.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, scaling organisations where processes are still maturing.
