Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team across a diverse portfolio of projects including: New Build Commercial
Residential Developments
Education Facilities
Healthcare Projects
Leisure Schemes
Industrial BuildsProjects are typically valued between £5m - £20m and are spread across Yorkshire, offering great variety and the chance to develop a well-rounded skillset.
Key Responsibilities Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting
Supporting the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
Preparing and reviewing valuations and variations
Assisting with subcontractor payments and final accounts
Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks
Working closely with site teams and senior commercial staffRequirements Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant QS role (or relevant placement experience)
A degree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Good communication and organisational abilities
Eagerness to learn and progress within a dynamic contractor environmentWhat's on Offer Competitive salary (£30k - £40k depending on experience)
