Academics are proud to be working with a supportive two-form entry primary school in South Leeds , who are looking to appoint a proactive, and resilient Year 4 Teacher to start ASAP!
This primary school in South Leeds have a strong and supportive senior leadership team and has a clear vision centred around high expectations, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing . Staff are supported through collaborative planning, consistent behaviour policies, and ongoing CPD opportunities , creating a positive and supportive working environment.
The school are keen to appoint a Year 4 teacher with strong Key Stage 2 experience and confidence in delivering high-quality differentiated lessons . Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is beneficial, as the class requires a teacher who can build positive relationships, and implement consistent behaviour strategies .
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Demonstrate strong KS2 knowledge
- Confidently manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
For this Year 4 teacher position you must:
- Have a DBS on the Update Service or happy to apply for one through Academics
- Have a teaching qualification (QTS)
- Have experience and understanding of the KS2 curriculum
