Senior P&C Underwriter
A well-backed and rapidly growing MGA is expanding its regional trading capability and is seeking a Senior Property & Casualty Trading Underwriter to join its Northern team.
This role is designed for an experienced, market-facing underwriter who enjoys building broker relationships, trading face-to-face and writing meaningful business.
Key Responsibilities- Trade and underwrite larger P&C risks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional brokers
- Be a visible and active presence in the local insurance market
- Work closely with BDMs and senior leadership to grow a profitable book
- Underwrite 100% lines with full delegated authority
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the regional underwriting proposition
- Proven experience as a P&C underwriter
- A track record of writing larger risks
- Strong broker network and market reputation
- Confident operating in an MGA or delegated authority environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build something
