D365 Project Manager (Leeds, UK Selling Entity, Germany)
Job Description
Rotork are deploying D365 globally to all factories and Selling Entities. This is a critical leadership role to ensure the coordination and adoption of a global solution that fits the requirements of the EMEA region.
Job Purpose:
The D365 Project manager is responsible for ensuring that the D365 FinOps & CE solution and associated changes are successfully implemented across Rotork’s factories and selling entities within EMEA region, ensuring that agreed business benefits are realised.
Working with the global deployment team and local factory superusers, SMEs and leadership teams, D365 Project Manager will manage the overall EMEA deployment programme plan, escalating critical issues and risks, identifying resource pinchpoints and managing dependencies within the programme and interdependencies with other projects outside of the programme. The D365 project Manager will be responsible for the plan that ensures business readiness of the entities to adopt the system as well as system design, build and adoption to meet the agreed Go Live date. This role is responsible for the day to day management of a team of superusers and SMEs across the sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ownership and management of the EMEA Wave 1 deployment plan, ensuring that the plan is delivered on time with associated benefits realised.
- Provide leadership by building and motivating local and global team members to meet deployment goals
- Day to day management of EMEA Wave 1 superusers & SMEs, and providing assurance that EMEA Wave 1 plan is robust, resourced and achievable.
- Provide guidance on the Rotork D365 solution to unblock critical tasks
- Ensure that best practices and lessons learned from previous deployments are understood & adopted
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Provide leadership in managing the change, to local leadership teams & dedicated Change & Comms resources
- Monitor, track, and control programme level delivery and work with key stakeholders to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
- Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with key global, regional and local stakeholders.
- Lead steering committee & gate reviews throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality of delivery
- Establish key performance metrics for the project, and report against those monthly to the Rotork Management Board
Qualifications
Required skills and experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience of successfully delivering a multi-location D365 FinOps / CE deployment programme within a manufacturing context, including people, process, and system activities.
- Must be willing to travel regularly and provide on the ground programme leadership
- Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organisation, embrace diversity and inspire/influence others to be the best they can be.
- Proven ability to set and maintain direction and hold self and others to account to deliver business outcomes on time and within budget.
- Ability to communicate clearly and manage change effectively.
