The Opportunity

As a Personal Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied private client portfolio, with a strong emphasis on advisory and planning rather than routine tax return processing.
You'll work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders, supporting clients with:

• Personal tax planning and strategy
• Complex residency and domicile matters
• Capital Gains Tax planning and transactions
• Inheritance Tax and estate planning
• Trusts and high-net-worth advisory work
• Supporting business owners with personal tax considerations

This is a role where your technical expertise and commercial mindset will be genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth and private clients
• Delivering tailored advisory support across a range of tax issues
• Reviewing complex personal tax returns (not preparing day-to-day)
• Leading client meetings and building long-term relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Working collaboratively with corporate tax and accounts teams on wider planning projects

What We're Looking For

• Strong personal tax background at Assistant Manager or Manager level
• Experience dealing with advisory-focused private client work
• CTA qualified (or ATT with strong advisory exposure) preferred
• Confidence in managing client relationships and providing planning support
• Ambition to progress within a growing and respected team
