Planning Solicitor
Planning Solicitor | National Law Firm | Leeds BCL Legal is pleased to be working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join its established and growing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice with a strong reputation in the Yorkshire market and a national client base. The planning team forms part of a wider, full-service real estate offering and is regularly instructed on complex and high-profile development projects. The firm acts for a broad range of clients including national housebuilders, developers, promoters, landowners, local authorities and commercial occupiers. The Role You will advise on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious planning matters, including:
- Section 106 agreements and highways agreements
- Planning appeals and enforcement matters
- Judicial review and statutory challenges
- Strategic land and large-scale residential development
- Environmental and compulsory purchase matters
- Providing planning support on corporate and real estate transactions
- High-quality, complex planning work
