The Role

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism and experience

  • Supporting pupils with practical investigations, coursework, and exam preparation

  • Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment

  • Contributing to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs or academic extension programmes

  • Working collaboratively within a high-performing and well-resourced Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in a Science subject or closely related field

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

  • High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and academic achievement

  • A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
