Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting Analyst

We’re looking for an Analyst to join our Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting (FALA) team within NHS SBS. Our team manages the interface between Oracle and the third‑party fixed asset and lease register system FMIS. We work closely with our NHS clients to ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end reporting, support reconciliation activity, and deliver a high‑quality, client‑focused service.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering fixed asset and lease reconciliations for provider clients.
• Ensuring successful monthly interfaces between Oracle and FMIS.
• Managing and resolving client queries, escalating where required to maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitoring team deadlines and KPIs to ensure service excellence.
• Supporting the year‑end process and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Working with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders to resolve complex queries.
  

What you’ll bring:

• A strong ability to follow processes – accuracy and consistency are key.
• Experience working in a client‑facing service environment and managing complex queries.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate and propose solutions.
• Effective time management, able to meet targets and work within agreed guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• High standard of education in English and Maths, with excellent computer skills including Excel.
• Competent knowledge of other NHS SBS departments and how their services impact FALA.

It would be great if you had:

• AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification — or you are currently studying towards one.
• Familiarity with FMIS or similar financial systems.
