What is the Job Role?

Follow work instructions from orders and production/running lists.

Contribute to team performance by achievement of targets. Preparing equipment and selecting the correct paint powders and gloss levels to meet specification. Prepare surfaces to apply powder coating in accordance with Company, ISO9001 and EN13438:2005 standards. Apply powder coating to various metals and materials using manual and auto spray guns. Use spray gun and apply paint to specification. Perform colour changes ensuring correct thickness and gloss levels. Use of hand tools for finishing of product. Packaging of finished product. Shot blasting various parts to the required standard.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidates will be part of a small team and must be able to work to the required targets and highest standards. Experience of spray painting or powder coating is desirable, however, training is available if required. Automatic booth experience is also desirable.

Please note that on occasion you may be asked to work in our galvanising section, for which training will be provided.

What can we offer?

£13.50 per hour start rate

Weekly pay. Monday to Thursday, 05.00 to 15.30; 40 hours per week. Overtime available, paid at time and a half. 28 days paid holidays (224 hours), including bank holidays.
