About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Fee Earner to join our growing and supportive family law team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional who is confident managing their own caseload and providing high-quality legal services to clients during sensitive and often challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
Advising clients on matters including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and separation
Preparing legal documents, applications, and correspondence
Attending client meetings and providing clear, practical legal advice
Representing clients in negotiations and liaising with barristers, courts, and other professionals
Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures
Delivering a high level of client care throughout the process

Requirements

Previous experience handling a family law caseload
Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Family Fee Earner considered
Strong knowledge of private family law procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines
A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with clients
