Conveyancer
Conveyancer – Leeds
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a nationally recognised and fast-growing conveyancing practice. Due to continued expansion, the firm is looking to appoint a capable and client-focused individual to support its thriving Residential Property team.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created position offering the chance to manage a capped caseload of approximately 60 files, enabling you to focus on delivering a consistently high standard of client service across a varied mix of transactions.
You will handle a broad range of freehold and leasehold sale and purchase matters, working within a structured and supportive team environment. The firm benefits from a consistent and reliable stream of work, providing long-term stability and the opportunity to develop your career within a secure and well-established business.
The role offers exposure to a variety of transactions, with occasional involvement in shared ownership and new-build matters, alongside your core caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Handle predominantly freehold sale and purchase transactions
- Conduct title checks and prepare property reports on purchases
- Deal with enquiries on both sale and purchase files
- Liaise with clients and third parties to agree exchange and completion dates
- Carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Source of Funds (SOF) checks
- Support on leasehold transactions, including reviewing leases and raising enquiries
About You
This role would suit an organised and proactive Conveyancer who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment and takes pride in delivering excellent client care.
Key requirements:
- Experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload (minimum 12 months, ideally 2+ years)
- Strong experience handling freehold sale and purchase transactions
- Exposure to leasehold matters (preferred)
The Offering
You will be joining a stable, well-established and forward-thinking organisation that offers a supportive team culture and clear opportunities for progression.

- Strong pipeline of work and long-term stability
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- Opportunities for career development and progression
- Exposure to a varied range of residential property matters
- Flexible working options (depending on location and role requirements)
