The Role We’re recruiting a Registered Manager to lead the setup and registration of a new 2-bed children’s home in Leeds (LS14). This is a rare opportunity to shape a service from the ground up, with strong backing already in place.
The home is a detached property with a good-sized garden , designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
With an RI already in place and an existing relationship with the local authority , you’ll be stepping into a well-supported and strategically positioned service ready for registration and growth.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the registration process with Ofsted and ensure full compliance
• Develop and implement all core documentation (SOP, policies, risk assessments)
• Build, recruit and lead a high-performing staff team
• Embed a therapeutic, trauma-informed care model
• Ensure the home meets and exceeds Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
• Maintain strong relationships with the local authority and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Registered Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Proven track record of Ofsted compliance and inspection readiness
• Experience in EBD settings
• Strong leadership, staffing and service development experience
• Full UK driving licence
