AAT Qualified Accounting Professional
HPCareers are currently assisting our established and expanding Accountants who currently require an AAT qualified Accounting professional to join their small but busy team in Leeds city centre
Reporting to: Director/Manager
Direct Reports: None
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (working hours flexible to suit lifestyle)
Responsibilities:
• To support a variety of clients, largely corporate with some personal.
• You will be proficient in the preparation of sole trader and corporate accounts from manual and computerised records with the minimum of supervision.
• Experience of IRIS Accounts & Tax preferred but not essential
• Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage, Income Tax Return, Corporation Tax Returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping
Essential
• AAT qualified (Level 4)
• 3+ years of professional Practice experience
• Able to demonstrate excellent VAT and general business tax knowledge.
• IT skills: Sage Line 50, MS Office Word and Excel
• Customer service and communications skills
• Time-management with ability to prioritise
• Impeccable attention to detail with a quality approach
• Able to build positive relationships with all contacts (clients and colleagues)
• Be comfortable working unsupervised
