Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary Schools Location – Leeds Rate of Pay: £12.71 – £14.00 per hour Contract: Temporary About the Role Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking greater flexibility or looking to broaden your experience across a range of school settings? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join a growing supply bank supporting a variety of schools (Primary & Secondary Schools). This is an excellent opportunity to work within different educational environments, develop your professional skills, and gain valuable experience supporting pupils with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and general administrative tasks Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional developmentWhat We’re Looking For We are seeking individuals who demonstrate: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments A commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguardingExperience and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should ideally have: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar classroom-based support role A sound understanding of classroom practices and strategies for supporting pupils with varying abilities Experience in supporting positive behaviour and contributing to an inclusive learning environment A relevant childcare, education, or support qualification (desirable but not essential)Why Join the Supply Bank?
