Administrator in Law Firm
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Shift pattern of 7.5 hours per day within core hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm
Flexibility required outside core hours for events, when necessary Pay: Temporary: £12.71 per hour + holiday pay (£14.24 total)
Permanent: Up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities * Acting as the first point of contact, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience * Answering calls, transferring enquiries, and taking accurate messages * Greeting clients and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner * Managing Outlook calendars and meeting room bookings * Providing administrative support across the office, including for Partners * Handling incoming and outgoing post, couriers, and deliveries * Managing filing, archiving, and document distribution * Coding and reconciling invoices * Supporting internal teams and assisting across departments as needed * Assisting with the organisation of in-house events alongside the marketing team * Ordering catering (breakfasts, lunches, dinners) when required * Monitoring and maintaining meeting rooms to a high standard * Ordering office supplies and conducting monthly stock checks * Setting up conference calls and supporting meeting logistics About You * Professional, reliable, and well-presented * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Strong attention to detail * Comfortable multitasking in a busy office environment * Previous reception or administrative experience preferred * A proactive and team-oriented approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected law firm in a varied and people-focused role, with the potential for long-term career development
