Experience of coordinating daytoday administrative workloads and supporting service delivery. Experience of using spreadsheets, databases and other information systems to support reporting and operational activity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively, clearly and effectively. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with staff at all levels, including Consultants, senior clinicians, managers and external stakeholders. Good organisational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and use initiative to prioritise, organise and monitor own and team workloads. Ability to exercise sound judgement, assess situations and resolve daytoday issues or escalate appropriately. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality and discretion at all times. Experience of allocating and monitoring workloads to ensure service targets are met. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Good working knowledge of Internet and Intranet systems and electronic recordkeeping. Experience of NHS information systems and databases. Approachable, professional and trustworthy, demonstrating honesty, integrity and reliability. Flexible and adaptable to changing service demands. Committed to maintaining high standards of service delivery and continuous improvement - willingness to take responsibility for own learning and development and undertake relevant training.
