SEN Teaching Assistant - Leeds

With an immediate start, an SEN setting in central Leeds are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active SEN practitioner to support a group of primary aged learners.

The school itself is a large SEN setting that caters for both primary and secondary aged students.

Duties of the role:

Leading small group interventions

1:1 support

Preparing resources

Creating displays

Supporting learners with Special Educational Needs

Managing behaviour within the classroom

What you will need:

A range of behaviour management techniques

To have worked with learners with a range of needs

The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods

Experience working within a primary school or nursery
