An Outstanding Secondary School in West Yorkshire requires a permanent, full-time Teacher of Science, starting January 2026. This is a key role for a colleague to join a high-achieving Science faculty.

Responsibilities

• The Teacher of Science will deliver rigorous instruction across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), covering all three scientific disciplines.
• The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting investigative skills and advanced theoretical understanding leading up to GCSE.
• They must contribute to the school's commitment to continued investment in professionals through expert support and training.
• The teacher is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in departmental planning.

Requirements

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has a successful record of teaching with strong examination results at KS3 and KS4.
• Has the right to work in the UK.
• Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
