DT Teacher - Outstanding School in Leeds - April Start
An Outstanding and high-performing secondary school in Leeds is seeking a talented and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join its successful department from April.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across KS3 & KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on specialism such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging, practical DT lessons
Supporting students in developing technical, creative, and problem-solving skills
Preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
Promoting enrichment opportunities such as design competitions, STEM projects, and exhibitions
You will join a collaborative department committed to maintaining outstanding standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
Experience teaching to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Commitment to high standards and practical learning
A proactive and collaborative approach
