Graduate Classroom Supervisor
Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Get Into Teaching Location: Central Leeds Start Date: ASAP ️ Contract: Full-time or Part-times (3 days per week minimum) Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching, or a role working with young people? Looking to build hands-on experience in schools and boost your future career prospects? Maybe you're not a qualified teacher yet, but you enjoy supporting young people and helping them succeed. This could be the perfect next step. We’re working with brilliant secondary schools in Central Leeds that are looking for confident, dependable Cover Supervisors to join their teams long-term. It’s a rewarding role where you’ll develop classroom skills, build strong relationships, and make a real difference to students’ day-to-day learning. What you’ll be doing: Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, if you have a specialist subject, this will be prioritised Creating a calm, purposeful learning environment Managing behaviour in line with school policy Supporting students to stay focused and engaged ✏️ Feeding back to teaching staff at the end of each day What we’re looking for:
- ️ Experience working with young people, in or outside of school
- ️ A confident, approachable style with strong classroom presence
- ️ Good communication and behaviour management skills
- ️ A flexible, proactive attitude and genuine interest in education
